PRESS RELEASE

Press Release Dublin - 26th May 2011

2nd edition of iGaming SuperShow
e-Management joins Operators & Affiliates in Dublin

e-Management, providing holistic e-gaming corporate solutions in Malta and Curaçao to operators and platform providers, was present at the RDS Business Centre in Dublin for the 2nd edition of the iGaming SuperShow.

Jonathan Dalli, Head of Marketing, attended the event held on May 25th and 26th, 2011. The event provided various networking opportunities for operators, affiliates and service providers alike. Furthermore, debates were held about the changing regulatory landscape in Europe as well as the recent developments in the US.

Commenting on the various panel debates, Jonathan commented; "Nowadays we are discussing an ever changing landscape, whereby the role of policy makers undoubtedly became even more crucial. We strongly believe that player protection standards should always top the agenda. Furthermore, the increasing need for bilateral agreements in order to avoid duplication of standards, infrastructure and controls should also continue to be emphasized upon".

Commenting on the recent EU Green Paper, also mentioned during the debates at the iGaming SuperShow, Jonathan commented "Europe must live up to its freedom of establishment and services principles. Any denial of access will ultimately result in lack of competition, innovation, customer value and choice. Nonetheless, the protection of players, minors and other vulnerable groups should never be taken lightly, even in this debate".

Standardisation was also referred to in Dublin. One has to note the recent agreement to help standardize player protection levels across the EU, a initiative taken by CEN. This standard included 9 policy objectives with 134 concrete measures adopted by stakeholders that included problem gaming experts and industry representatives amongst others. Such standards should be seen as complementary to national and/or EU regulation.

Next e-Gaming focused activity for e-Management will be the European iGaming Congress & Expo, scheduled to take place in Milan between the 20th and the 22nd of September 2011.
